What is "The D.O.D."?
The D.O.D. is a website about a game called Grim Fandango. D.O.D. stands for "Department Of Death", and is the company that Manny works for at the beginning of Grim Fandango.

Where can I buy the game?
Grim Fandango was released in 1998, so it obviously isn't as popular and easy to find now as it was then. But, if you don't mind using ebay, you could find it there. Or you could try Amazon (www.amazon.com for the US). Grim Fandango has recently been repackaged and re-released by LucasArts, along with some other LucasArts adventure games, so you may even be able to find it in your local PC game store.

The site looks crazy/the template is crazy
What browser are you using? This site has so far only been tested on IE, Firefox and Opera (sorry everyone else). So, if you are having problems with the site because of your browser, please e-mail me and tell me what browser you are using, and what the problem is, so I can try to fix it.
I get a 404 error when I click on 'x' link

When I try to view 'x' page I get a database error
This is most likely to mean that the site is currently experiencing technical difficulties, and any pages using a database won't display. But this shouldn't happen, so if it does, e-mail me.
I don't like the colour scheme of the site, is there a way I can change it?
Yes, in the menu bar on the left, you will see a small picture underneath the list of pages on the site - these are different colour schemes for the site. Click one, and it will take you back to the page you were on but with the new colour scheme.
The different styles aren't working
Try refreshing the page, as you might be looking at a cached version of the page stored on your computer. If that doesn't work, it might be that you have disabled cookies. If it still doesn't work, make sure you aren't choosing the same style you are already on ;).
Can I post my opinion on news articles?
Yes, just click on the "Comments ()" link under the title of the news item you want to post comments for. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and type in your name and comment. No registration is required.
